J.D. Power Recognizes Buick for Best Customer Service

Buick is the highest rated mass-market brand in J.D. Power’s recent U.S. Customer Service Index giving Buick dealers the title of having the best customer service.

J.D. Power has recognized Buick as the highest-ranking mass-market brand for customer satisfaction for dealer auto service in its latest “U.S. Customer Service Index (CSI) Study.”

CSI evaluates service satisfaction among owners and lessees of one- to five-year-old vehicles in the United States based on five core service areas. These include, in order of importance, service quality, service initiation, service advisor, service facility, and vehicle-pickup.

Nineteen mass-market (non-luxury) brands were evaluated, of which Buick ranked highest with 835 points. It was followed by Volkswagen at 830 and GMC at 828. The mass-market brand average was 797.

“Our dealers have an excellent focus on putting our customers first,” said Duncan Aldred, U.S. vice president of Buick and GMC. “Not only have Buick dealers committed to or completed overhauling their facilities, but they’ve shown that continuing a positive customer experience is a top priority.”
