Nielsen has named Buick’s “Landing” commercial as the Nielsen Award Winner for the Luxury Campaign of the Year category in the eighth annual Automotive Advertising Awards.

In the ad, a family returns home from a trip to a warmer climate. As the plane sets down at the snowy airport, the father remotely starts the family Enclave using the OnStar RemoteLink service via his smartphone.
The standard automatic climate control turns on the heat, including the available heated front seats, and the family arrives to a perfectly cozy car in the otherwise wintry parking lot.
It’s a simple way to show just how convenient the all-new Buick Enclave can be, and this resonated well with viewers, who not only liked the ad and remembered it well enough to make it worthy of a prestigious Nielsen award.
