St. Patrick’s Day is one of the most popular holidays in the US. Here at Simi Valley Buick GMC we plan to celebrate in many ways. One way you can celebrate the holiday is by visiting the Reagan Foundation event on March 17th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. This is the second year in a row the Reagan Foundation has held this event, and it’s truly wonderful.
According to the Reagan Foundation, the event will include an Irish menu of short ribs, shepherd’s pie, and Reuben sandwiches, as well as fish and chips. There will also be Bailey’s Irish Cream brownies and other desserts, traditional for St. Patty’s Day. Not only will there be great food, but you can also see folk bands and fiddlers. In addition, Air Force One and other exhibits will be on display at this event.
Tickets are just $65 per person, and you can make reservations until March 14th. You must be 21 and older in order to attend, and you should be sure to visit the website for more information.
St. Patrick’s Day celebrates the saint that bears its name, the patron of Ireland. Patrick was actually a Brit who was kidnapped and left in Ireland, where he later had a religious experience. After spreading Catholicism on the Emerald Isle, he quickly became the icon of the entire country. Many in the US descend from Irish immigrants, one reason the holiday is so widespread. Be sure to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this year.
