Fans of big American SUVs will be delighted to learn that the all-new GMC and Chevrolet lineup for the 2015 model year delivers even more power and up to 10 percent better fuel economy.
With a new standard 5.3-liter engine, the 2015 Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Suburban, GMC Yukon, and GMC Yukon XL have all achieved an EPA-estimated 16 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway with two-wheel drive. That’s an almost 10 percent improvement in highway mileage over the 2014 models and a 7 percent improvement in city mileage.
But if you’re all about the power and don’t really mind paying a little bit extra at the pump, GMC hasn’t forgotten about you. The new 2015 GMC Yukon Denali and Yukon XL Denali now come equipped with an exclusive 6.2-liter V8 that’ll rock your socks off with its 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Try finding that amount of power in any other full-size SUV (hint: you won’t).
