Just a few months ago, GMC’s “Precision” advertising campaign was launched, drawing the parallels between the GMC Yukon Denali and the precise swish of a basketball in “Swish,” a pitcher’s fastball in “Fastball,” and finally, the perfectly tailored suit in “Sharp.” Further emphasizing the brand’s dedication to attention to detail and the parallels between its brand and the precision found in high-end fashion, music, and photography, GMC has released a new short film.
Produced for screening at Men’s New York Fashion Week (July 13-16), “The Sharp American” follows up on its “Sharp” ad, featuring high-profile fashion Michael Bastian alongside a number of particularly well-dressed men. “The Sharp American” will take a look at the parallels between impeccable automotive design and impeccable clothing design through the perspective of Bastian along with photographer Michael Avedon and musician Twin Shadow.
