Using its sophisticated Kelley Blue Book® Residual Values methodology in combination with critical financial data from third-party providers, KBB calculates total ownership costs for new vehicles. The evaluation involves careful consideration over lowest projected depreciation, expected fuel costs, finance and insurance fees, maintenance and repair costs, and state registration fees.
Once all of these factors were taken in account, Kelley Blue Book determined that the 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 beat out all of the competition in its segment, delivering lower ownership costs over the first five years than any other comparable vehicle.
“GMC puts the customer first, not only offering a great portfolio of trucks, but maintaining quality and dependability long after the vehicle is purchased,” said Tony DiSalle, vice president of GMC marketing.
