All of us at Simi Valley Buick GMC are excited with the popularity of all of the new Buick and GMC vehicles in the last month. Not only are we seeing more and more around town, but Buick and GMC October sales were at their strongest in some years – the former scoring its best performance since 2003 and the latter its best since 2008.
Total Buick sales were up 8% and retail sales were up 4% year-over-year, with just over half of buyers new to the brand. The biggest contributor to the brand’s growth was the Encore, which surged up by 33% compared to October 2013 and up 55% on a year-to-date basis. The Encore also scored its 10th consecutive month of retail sales increases and helped Buick become the only domestic automaker to feature in Consumer Reports’ 2014 auto reliability survey.
Meanwhile, retail GMC sales were up 6%, with full-size pickup trucks getting the biggest share. With 18,564 units sold, the Sierra was up 12%, marking its best performance since 2001! Its most cited qualities include styling, craftsmanship, and quality. Come try out the best of both brands at Simi Valley Buick GMC!
