Following the lead of its siblings—the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado, 2015 GMC Sierra, and 2015 Chevrolet Colorado, who all offer special edition models—GMC has announced that the 2015 GMC Canyon will roll out four special edition models and trim levels.
While we won’t know extensive details until GMC officially announces these special edition packages, GMauthority.com reports that the 2015 GMC Canyon Special Edition models are the following:
2015 Canyon Denali
Though the Denali hasn’t been officially confirmed by the automaker, executives have hinted that it’s coming, and insider sources have confirmed that to be true. If and when the Canyon Denali arrives, it will feature body-color bumpers and mirrors, signature chrome grille, and an exclusive powertrain.
“All Terrain Adventure” 2015 Canyon
This Canyon is packed with functional truck-bed accessories, racks, and mounts that can be used to secure a bike or ATV.
“Midnight Edition” 2015 Canyon
This edition is expected to offer body-colored grille surround, color-keyed door handles, mirror caps, side moldings, front and rear bumpers, and blacked-out wheels.
2015 Canyon SLT “Chrome” Edition
The “Chrome” edition will pack plenty of chrome, obviously. We expect it to be something like the Denali, but without the enhanced powertrain and a few other of the features.
