Buick reported an 8 percent year-over-year retail and 12 percent total sales increase in April, marking its best April retail sales since 2005 and best total sales since 2006.
Though several models stood out for their strong performances last month, the Buick brand itself left many impressed. J.D. Power named it as the highest-ranking mass-market brand for customer satisfaction with dealer service, Kelley Blue Book named it the “Best Value Luxury Brand” for the second year in a row, and it received a Nielsen advertisement award for its “Landing” commercial.
As far its actual lineup goes, the 2014 Encore was April’s star child, with 33 percent retail and 48 percent year-over-year growth. It also had a 50 percent conquest rate, a testament to its ability to attract new buyers to the Buick brand.
The new 2014 Regal sedan enjoyed its seventh consecutive month of retail sales growth with an 11 percent retail and 21 percent total sales increase in April.
Finally, the 2014 LaCrosse posted its best month of the year, with retail sales up 12 percent and total sales up 10 percent. Buick expects these numbers to continue rising thanks to the Ultra Luxury Interior Package it just released for the LaCrosse.
